Lobster Rolls
How to prepare a lobster roll can be quite controversial depending on who you talk to, but no matter where you are from or how you make it, one thing is for certain, lobster rolls are a sweet luxury that everyone should learn to make at home.
Here’s my recipe, as a child of a Mainiac, growing up spending my summers in rural Maine.
Lobster Roll:
Whole Maine Lobster (Boiled and Picked)
Mayo
Salt
New England Split-Top hot dog buns
Pick your lobster and cut or rip apart lobster into small pieces. For 4 lobsters, I use about 1 C of mayo. Add salt to taste. This will make about 8 lobster rolls. Fill your buns with lobster and slather mayo to both sides of the bun and grill on low heat until each side is golden brown.
